Jordan is known as being an Authentic, Honest, Plain Talking guy who has always fought for the underdog. His mother Barbara Stone, who started the first Abused Women's Shelter in Canada in 1973, Interval House, is quoted "Even as a child he always brought home the birds with the broken wings".
Jordan Stone has a diverse resume. In the 80’s he started his first business at 23, STONE EQUESTRIAN JEANS (see gallery), Designing and Marketing them in Toronto for the upscale clothing market.
Later in that decade he played rugby on Team Canada in the Maccabi Games in Israel. A great accomplishment and honour.
In the 90’s Jordan worked for Norman Jewison at the CFC Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. In 2005 he started his own production company House of Stone, producing, directing and writing his own films. Jordan currently has 2 feature films in development.
In the 2000's Jordan started a first for Canada, a diagnostic specific Peer Support Charitable Organization for people suffering from Mental Illness, endorsed by CAMH Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Jordan has became a champion and National Advocate for people with mental health issues. He has spoken in Parliament about Diagnostic Specific Peer Support years before it was accepted as standard practice.
